When I checked into this hotel and entered my room, I found that the large glass panel of the balcony door was completely shattered into small pieces. I do not know the cause. Of course, I immediately called the hotel management to report the issue.
After waiting for a considerable amount of time, I was told at around 7:00 PM that I had two options: either receive a 100% refund and cancel the booking, or stay in the room as it was.
Because the situation was clearly dangerous, I requested a room change. However, I was told that there were no spare rooms available and that if I was not satisfied, I should cancel. This was communicated to me by a operater. I understand that she was likely following instructions from her superior, so I do not believe this was her personal decision.
I then asked whether I could receive a discount instead. I was told that a 30% discount would be provided, although it would take some time for the credit to be processed. To be honest, I would have preferred a room change rather than a 30% discount.
I have photos and videos documenting the condition of the room. Please let me know how I can send them to your office, or kindly provide the appropriate email address.
In any case, I would like to request the 30% refund as discussed. You may contact at your company for confirmation of the details.
