Good Hotel with lots of opportunities for growth
The hotel is in fair condition, specially for its age. Very eco-friendly with lots of open spaces. In our opinion, very well suited for families, but probably not for young singles looking for fun. Staff is friendly, though, in a couple of occasions, we encounter one or two with a bit of an attitude. Though, for the large number of staff, they should be considered as an outlier. As a positive feedback, the Hotel's Management should be more focus on improving the guests experience. Few examples: 1. Restaurant does not have a wine list (simple item, but for a 5-start hotel, the restaurant w/o a wine list is kind of awkward). 2. No Animation Team, at least 1 or 2 high energy folks would make the place rock, and guests wanting to come back. 3. The pools and several of the jacuzis do NOT provide a safe and easy way to get into or out from the water, specially for Seniors and young children (e.g., No Handrails, No swimming pool that has a gradual slope that allows you to walk directly into the pool without steps or a ladder, or at a minimum steps). 4. For the size, tradition, and quality of the hotel, the Hotel should have an impressive bar near or by the main lobby, where guests can mingle at any time of the day for coffee and/or drinks (we think this is a big business opportunity. Definitively, they have the space for it).
