Unfortunately, our stay had several disappointing aspects.
To begin with, the TV in our room was not working; it wouldn't even turn on. I was very disappointed as I had been looking forward to watching the historic first game between the Pacers and Knicks and missed it as a result.
Regarding breakfast, I was also left with some confusion. We hadn't selected the "Breakfast for 2" option, and I naturally assumed this meant breakfast for one person would still be included. However, we were told, "Your reservation does not include breakfast." The idea that no breakfast is provided for one person if you don't opt for two felt like either a lack of clarity during booking or a system issue.
During checkout, the hotel's system was down, so we were unable to get a receipt at that time. We were told, "If you need one, please call us back later." I can see this being very problematic for guests who require a receipt immediately, such as for business expenses.
The building itself, both externally and internally, showed its age. However, the cleaning was done thoroughly, and the cleanliness was a positive point.
However, with these various issues, our overall experience was not satisfactory. We hope to see improvements in the future.
