"Room was very dusty and stunk like garbage.
The staff were not helpful at all, didn't offer the stated flat rate for parking $46 parking as stated when we booked this accommodation, so it ended up costing us $140 dollars for overnight parking. (I have this in an email from the booking). The staff couldn't be bothered to offer any assistance with questions relating to the area, assistance with luggage or transport options. Parking was HORRENDOUS underground parking all of the lifts were closed making it difficult to carry luggage up flights of stairs no prior contact letting guests know that the lifts would not be functioning so alternative drop off could be made for people in wheelchairs or who have a disability. I will never stay here again!"
"Beautiful room, immaculately tidy. Staff upon check in were super friendly and helpful. I can’t fault the Meriton as we’ve stayed at most of the locations and always 5 star service"
"This was my third trip to Airlie Beach and I decided to stay somewhere central this time rather than trudge up the hill to my accommodation. Airlie Beach Hotel is the perfect location to access everything, and only a short level walk to most restaurants, shops and walkways. Despite being almost above the pub and restaurant, my third floor Premium Ocean King room was quiet and I could barely hear any of the ongoings downstairs at any time of the day or night during the weekend that I was there. There are presently renovations being undertaken at the hotel, but this did not interfere with the comfort of my stay. The room was exceptionally clean, and the coffee machine, iron, full sized ironing board and facilities were much appreciated. My morning coffee while sitting on my balcony in the early morning sunshine overlooking the water was perfect. The Saturday morning markets are directly across the road. The restaurant is very popular, and the food is amazing. All of the Airlie Beach Hotel staff, from reception to cleaning to bar and restaurant staff, were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be staying at the Airlie Beach Hotel for my next visit."
"The hotel is centrally located to the esplanade, marina, town. Several good restaurants nearby. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The room was good size but the finishes are dated and finishes needs updating particularly the bathroom which was very small. There was a musty smell in the room which improved when air condition was turned on."
