Reception couldn't quote extension rates - I asked the front desk about extending my stay for one more night. The receptionist initially quoted 92 euros, then said I'd have to wait until morning for the "booking team" to confirm. How can a hotel not provide accurate rates on the spot? I needed to make a decision that evening, not the next day.
Gym/sauna towel policy - When I requested an extra towel at the gym and sauna, the attendant refused, saying only one towel per person is allowed. For a five-star property, this feels unnecessarily restrictive.
These may seem like small issues, but they reflect a lack of empowerment given to staff and a rigid approach that doesn't match five-star service expectations.
