The staff were great, really accommodating and pleasant, the rooms are unique and feel much more homely than most hotels. And the pool area was fantastic, we didn't book the place with the pool in mind at all, so it was a great surprise to find it as enjoyable as it was. Will definitely stay here again when in Sydney next.

Loved the pool! It was a great size to swim. The spa was wonderful. A Clean and relaxing area to spend a sunny afternoon. Great beds in the deluxe room and the bath was lovely. I highly recommend this place for a getaway at a good price.

A calamity of errors

Hotel was being used as a film set and I have no idea why you left it up on your site. I couldn’t find reception then got directed to a spot way away from my room . Was given a free dinner for all the issues and the Palms restaurant was excellent. Rooms are way past a need for being renovated.

This property is looking tired and in need of some attention. Things that would make a better impression are - fix the ripped net on the tennis court - paint the gazebo at the entrance - ensure the pool is clean and inviting - upgrade TVs to provide more than extremely limited channels ie 2,7,9,10 ( not even SBS On a positive note the room was clean.

We arrived to the property and could see that they were chopping down trees and shrub. There was noisy drilling while I was at the check in desk. I was told we could stay in the room we booked or stay in a room on the ground floor as they were “Painting the roof and checking for leaks” the following day. We decided to stay in the original room. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the clothes line over the bathtub broke. The website says that they do breakfast and dinner. That was not correct. I asked about that the following day. What was happening is that three weeks before, The Palms, which appears to be a garden centre, that is in front of the hotel had bought it. So instead of renovating the hotel, then opening it back up, they were operating while doing renovations. The website should’ve been updated. It’s a lot more expensive if booked directly through them. I’m relieved I didn’t.

Friendly reception and clean accommodation.

Clean and simple accommodation. Reception and greeting was outstanding. Unfortunately some of the facilities (sauna & spa) were not working when we stayed. Bed was comfy though bedding was minimal and needed more blankets. In the end we had to use the AC to be comfortable while sleeping.
