The hotel is very nice, we had a pleasant stay. The only thing is that the breakfast could be more varied and the coffee machine could be better. Otherwise the hotel is great, very modern, clean, good amenities including sauna. Nice choice of value for money.

The service wasn't so great, at the start the receptionist wasn't very polite explaining where we'll be staying, which was in different building. She wasn't happy when i asked her to take us there, as we couldn't find it. The breakfast was good and the service was good. Very clean room, but very hot in the staircase and hallways so not as eco friendly

Great stay and value in Gdánsk

The hotel is in an old factory, it is very well renovated. It offers a sauna service, as well as spa, restaurant, bar. The room we stayed in was fine, large and clean. I missed having some sleepers or information about that. The room was large, calm, heating worked well, beds were comfortable. The bathroom was fine. I liked the services and location of the hotel the most, as it is 15 minutes walk only to old town and yet is in a great, alternative and relaxing area. Service at reception was helpful. Restaurant was very good, as we had a dinner. Sauna could be larger or have more dressing rooms, but overall great stay and great for value. Enjoyed!!!

ARCHE Dwór Uphagena Gdańsk A very unusual but brilliant hotel! We stayed here for 4 nights. We opted for a studio and it was great to have a fridge. The room was enormous with everything that you needed. The decor of the building is pure concrete. It was very different and we liked it. We booked for breakfast each day. The buffet choice was enormous and as soon as a dish was half empty they replenished! The food was of the highest quality and so much choice. The tables were quickly cleaned by very efficient staff. There was a bar with friendly staff which we went into a couple of evenings. The staff in the front desk were friendly and helpful. We had read in the reviews that you got moved to another room for breakfast- we didn’t! Also that you could not use the left luggage room- we didn’t and had very good service. Yes it is about a 15 minute walk to the old town but we thought it was worth it for the quality of the hotel. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel but bad experiences with the service

Nice hotel and good breakfast. The hotel has several buildings, we had a room with kitchenette at the building "Fabrika" a couple of minutes walking distance from main building. Unfortunately we had 2 bad experiences: a) On our first morning the firealarm waked everybody in "Fabrika" up at 7 am. Several guests oppened doors, on piyamas or naked, nobody understood what was happening and NO ONE från reception or other personal came to the building to help, calm or explain. A guest guided everybody to leave the building. I carried my kid without clothes and was quite freezing outside. When we arrived to the main building personal were serving breakfast like nothing had happened. It came a recorded message "your life has never been in danger". Nobody from hotels personal explained. I insisted on an explanation and the receptionist told that some guest had smoked in the room and that the guest "is no more at the hotel". Any help at all from them when it happened. B) The hotel announces at hotels.com that they help with airport transfers. But i asked them several days (by phone, mail and message via hotels.com) if my transfer from airport to the hotel for me and kid was arranged and they didnt answer in DAYS. They answered some hours before flight that it was fixed. When i asked at the reception the answer i got was "i remember your messages, but we had a lot to do those days". Otherwise the personal was helpful. But those 2 experiences dont give a good grade to service and staff.

Not worth the money, stay away.

We had a 4 night stay in september at this hotel. Classification for 4 stars wasnt correct. It was a nice old building which is renovated, but thats about it what it comes to the positives. I can start already with the check in. We arrived early, around 10am. Then we were promised that our room will be ready in two hours. So we decided to stay at the hotel a d not go to the city. To be meantioned, hotel is around 1,2km away from the old town. After 2 hours a guy at the reception said we have to wait until 15.00. We then ended up to ger our room 14.00. First day at our stay we didnt want cleaning by hanging a sign outside the door. We removed the sign after the day, but no cleaning were done at any other days either! Dirty towels, no toilet paper, nothing!! Food at the breakfast is ridiculous and definitely not worth 4 star ranking. Juice tasted like water, bread was so chewy and hard that elderly people couldnt manage to chew it. Food at the restaurant at lunch/dinner is so dry that you need a bucket of water to get it swallowed. Service at the reception is low quality, expect for two girls who were polite. Corridors and stairs are so dark with minimal of lightning that it is almost to risky for older people to go there. We were trying to order a cake from the bar, we ended up waiting for service for 15minutes, we gave up and left. Definetly NOT staying at this hotel ever again!

Cleaners changed all towels daily although we didn't leave them on the floor. Bathroom was not cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good and room quiet. Excellent bed

Overordnet set havde jeg et rigtig behageligt ophold på hotellet. Ved ankomst fik jeg tildelt et værelse, hvor der desværre var en let, udefinerbar lugt, som jeg havde lidt svært ved at vænne mig til. Dagen efter henvendte jeg mig derfor i receptionen for at høre, om det var muligt at skifte værelse. Det blev imødekommet uden problemer, og det nye værelse var helt perfekt – her nød jeg resten af opholdet til fulde. Morgenmaden var udmærket, om end uden de store højdepunkter. Jeg valgte derfor at spise morgenmad i byen et par af dagene. Alt i alt et virkelig charmerende, rustikt og arkitektonisk smukt hotel med mange fine detaljer og en beliggenhed i behagelig gåafstand fra centrum. Jeg kan bestemt anbefale stedet, hvis du planlægger et besøg i Gdansk.

Fint hotell, dårligere frokost.

Fint hotell både moderne, men også med sjarm og rustikk. Ligge utenfor sentrum i et roligere område med en 15 minutters gå tur til sentrum. Frokosten var ikke noe å skryte av med lite utvalg og tørre brødskiver, men en frokost med det mest nødvendige. Fikk også et håndkle på hotellrommet med stort hull i. Ellers et fint hotell.
