Well positioned to walk 5 minutes into town and convenient for local restaurants and the ferry. It has paid for parking 200 metres away. I would have given 5 stars except the hotel was full and we got what must have been the last room, and it was particularly small, perhaps too small."

"The hotel is gorgeous. Very elegant. Felt like living in a palace. The staff were satisfactory but not very personable. It felt like the staff were aware of the luxurious nature of the hotel and acted removed. Maybe there is no way around it. We felt more personally taken care of in smaller boutique hotels. The breakfast was nice and rich. The communal areas of the hotel were very pretty and elegant. There is definitely a trade off in this hotel between the luxury and person-ability of the experience."
