"Hotel Vis is about 2.3 miles from Dubrovnik Old Town. Lapad and its beach/promenade are very nice and relaxing. I walked to Old Town and back on two occasions. A bus route is available as are taxis."

"Beautiful hotel on the coast, with a nice pool and loungers on the rocks with direct access to the sea. Amenities were excellent and there was a great choice available at breakfast. Staff were very helpful and easy access to the old town using bus number 4 which starts its route right outside the hotel every 20mins. Would highly recommend."

"The property is well-located, with an easy bus ride to the Old Town, and numerous restaurants are within walking distance. The host was great and knowledgeable and because it was very hot the week we were there, they provided replacement towels every day. Bed was huge and the flat was perfect for our needs. The property is set in "rustic gardens" and that adds to the charm of the place. Very enjoyable weeks break."
