"First night with the hotel after it had just opened under new management. Some teething issues, but the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout.
Spacious and luxurious rooms, exceeding expectations for the price.
Good breakfast in a delightful garden / patio setting.
Great location, just next to a pedestrian street with a number of bars, restaurants and gelaterias and a five-minute walk down to the Uvala Lapad Beach. The area felt like a pleasant walkable oasis within the...
"This is a nice little hotel nestled between a bay of the Adriatic and an Aleppo Pine forest (with trails) in Lapad, just outside downtown Dubrovnik. It has an outdoor pool with views over the bay. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Easy bus ride on the #4 city bus to and from Pile Gate; bus stops 100 yards away around the corner. Walk to the water in 5 minutes. Quiet, away from the crowds of downtown. Really enjoyed it!"
"We enjoyed our time at Hotel Lapad. It is well located and just a 30 minute walk to Dubrovnik Old Town and a short walk to the Lapad strip. There are great views of the harbour and the cruise ships arriving."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t beat the location and value for money. Cleaning staff do an amazing job with what they have to work with; restaurant staff attentive and friendly. You definitely get your money’s worth here."
"This apartment was very spacious compared to all the other accomodations we stayed at throughout Croatia. It had a nice patio space, parking, and all the basics you'd want. I really liked the neighborhood and glad we chose not to stay in old town. "
"Villa Filaus is such a great place to stay, beautiful rooms and gardens. Anita is so helpful and friendly. Second time we habe been and we will definitely be coming again. Iits ideal for a short break or long stay."
"The hotel was recently renovated. Great staff! Luke was great in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. Excellent location, walkable to the beach. Ten minutes walk to catch the bus. I would stay here again!"
"The lady that checked us in was amazing. She was so helpful and accommodated for us to check in early. Restaurant staff was great too. What a great find! Would stay again!"
"Good breakfast buffet in the mornings with a good selection of fresh foods. The staff were very nice and welcoming as we had a check in later in the day."
"Great place for a couple of nights visiting Dubrovnik. Is a bit out of town but is closer to the beaches and the port if catching a ferry. The bus network is so easy to use and is actually free with a city pass. The room itself was immaculately clean and had all the facilities you’d want. Plus a mini-mart downstairs in the building that was really well stocked. No complaints at all. Would 100% choose it again. "
"Great location in Lapad. Host is very friendly and gave us information about the bus route to old town and a tour of his garden. Sunset beach was less than 10 minute walk and the promenade has lovely restaurants and bars to explore. Service was elite!"
"Staff are lovely here, nothing too much trouble. Location is beautiful, amazing sunset from balcony area over the islands and Adriatic. Beds super comfy, very clean, great beach area and very easy to travel to old town. Breakfast was great, good choices of food and lovely coffee. Would definitely stay again."
"Excellent choice. The location was perfect . 2 minute walk to grocery and 5 minutes to shopping and beach. Many local restaurants were nearby. The hotel restaurant food was excellent too. Swimming pool was a plus. Book now."
"Guesthouse Cuk was reasonable for our stay. Accompanied by excellent hosting from our host Slav who showed us a good tour of Dubrovnik and where was best to visit. He went the extra mile as a host. 😊"

Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Lapad Beach is a spot you might want to check out, located 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from central Dubrovnik. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Copacabana Beach located nearby.
Our hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful and generous. Wi- Fi worked very well. Beds were extremely comfortable- neighborhood is quiet.
Stayed in a second-floor one bedroom corner apartment with two separate balconies. It allowed us to make our meals easily- there was a washing machine and drying racks for our clothes. The old town is not really walking distance- but taxis are very easy. Grocery stores are very close.
This hotel may look far from the old city, but it is close to the most beautiful promenade I have ever seen! A short walk gets you to restaurants and beaches and a view to die for! Getting to the old city is a quick and inexpensive bus ride away. And Anita is the most gracious host who knows everything you will need to make your visit interesting and relaxing. And there is parking, which is an absolute must in Dubrovnik.
Upon arrival we were greeted immediately! Our bags were grabbed and we were taken to the front desk. The service was continually fantastic. The Cave Bar downstairs was pretty cool! We arrived a bit late so that was the only place to grab a quick bite.. only 3 items on the menu, but doable. Would definitely stay here when it’s a bit warmer!!!
Here's the gig: Dubrovnik is not huge. The walled city is beautiful but only so much to see as it is mostly restaurants and repetitive shops. A couple of museums, a church or two, etc., but one good day or afternoon and you can cover the highlights. Don't miss the cable car to the top of the hill at twilight. Spectacular.
Having said that, this hotel gives you the option to enjoy spectacular views at the seaside, a gorgeous walk along the coastline into town or a 10 minute bus ride from...
This is one of the best properties we have stayed at anywhere in the world. The setting on the Adriatic is stunning, and the staff and services are all top notch. Just about every room has a view of the water. It's walkable to Dubrovnik but a little far in the heat so they have a convenient shuttle. The food options on premises are abundant and all very good. It's hard to over recommend this place.
We just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel More. Of course the surroundings are magnificent. But the hotel staff and on-site facilities are what make or break a hotel. Delicious food, beautiful pools with views over the sea. Total relaxation. The staff treated our family with care and kindness each and ever encounter. Our waitress at the on-site restaurant remembered our child's favorite meal. The prices are not cheap, but I am willing to pay extra for fabulous service.
We are already ...
Great location across from the port and only hour walk to old town or 10 minute uber. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The room was clean and spacious and the AC worked very well. I would recommend staying here.
Really really enjoyed having a separate apartment. It felt like home and more comfortable than a hotel. It was really nice to be able to pop back to my apt and stop off purchases or take a short break. The hotel mgr was really helpful and friendly. She gave me wonderful restaurant recommendations that were perfect. I would definitely stay here again.
I am really happy I decided to stay at this hotel! I went during off season with a friend. Our room was really clean and modern with an incredible view. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in Dubrovnik, but it was close enough that we were able to get into the city by car or water taxi. There is a small beach in front of the hotel, but take the water taxi into the city or to one of the other islands for the best beaches.
Many restaurants, coffee shops and bars in area. Frequent & inexpensive (~$1.50 dollars) public bus near by to take one into the old walled city. Only (very minor) issue is our beds were squeaky.
