There are comfortable seating areas throughout. Board games and books are available. Bkfsts were exc! There was something for everyone, incl fresh cheeses and fresh fruit. And the staff at both locations was exceptionally helpful. One even called to ask if I needed help when I went to the pharmacy and "disappeared " for 5 hrs. My room was furnished in "early Ikea", but the atmosphere is clean, warm and friendly, and I would highly recommend this hostel.

A great find with the price we paid! We were not having a high expectation with the price we paid. But we were surprised with what we got. The free parking space is huge even in American standard and I do not have to struggle to back in like in other places. The breakfast are wonderful and included! Amazing views from our room. It's always disappointing however to be given twin beds instead of a double and the mattress protectors made the bed very sweaty.
Breakfast was very busy so maybe that's why we didn't have the best experience.
That said we would return without hesitation. We loved the area and had a wonderful time

Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. We loved this hotel and its location. The rooftop pool deck is great. 1.5 mile walk to Cascais, beautiful beaches right across the street, the train station to go to Lisbon is a 4 minute walk, and an Uber ride to Sintra is just around $20. It really is a great hotel and location.

Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!
We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon.
