"This hotel seems an old one without much upgrade, but it gave unique feel just because of it. Staff is very friendly and allowed us to check in a little early so we can unload our luggage and drove to Grand Canyon park to tour most of the afternoon. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Other things are very basic. But comparing the price with what other hotels charge near the park, it has great value."

"The hotel’s location is great and the train cars and railway were great attractions for our family. The rooms were spacious enough, but shower did have mold. It was a good stay overall, but not quite as clean as I would have expected for the price. The staff at the gift shop in the morning wasn’t rude, but they weren’t helpful either."

"Really great value and a great location! The property was clean and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was surprisingly good for a hotel breakfast. I loved being able to walk downtown, and the complimentary 24-hour coffee room was a nice bonus. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked really nice. For the price, I thought this was a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again."

"Splurge and get one of the domes that faces the field directly. The views are incredible day and night. I suggest looking at the moon chart before booking as a bright moon makes it nearly impossible to see the stars. Bed wasn’t super comfortable, but the experience was incredible nonetheless."
