I enjoyed my stay at Berry Berry. I was hesitant to book when I saw the graffiti on Google Maps, but there is graffiti everywhere and it’s not an indicator of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was nice and central to many sites. I felt safe walking alone in the evening. It was about 1 mile from bus station and close to square and other sites. There were 2 small grocery stores close by and lots of quick bites places to grab lunch or dinner to go.
I didn’t want to be a pain, so I didn’t ask...
It was a sound proof room. We had a king size bed, the mattress was from not soft. There were large pillows, 2 firm and 2 soft. When you turn of the lights in the bathroom, the exhaust fan takes a few minutes to turn off automatically. The breakfast was great. We had hot cheese omelet made and there was scrambled eggs at the buffet with sausages and some veggies like different bell peppers and olives. Great location for tourist, in the middle of many restaurant and stores. Closest parking is a parking garage about a 10 min walk away. Room was clean and comfortable.
Our room was spacious and the staff was quick to relocate us when we had a plumbing issue. On site saunas (4) and pool. Good breakfast (included) and on-site restaurant. Parking is ample and location super convenient.
We loved the apartment, the service and the location. The apartment is close to everything, you can go to the best restaurant, museums or shopping with just few minutes walk. The beds were very comfortable, we had a very good size living room and no issues with TV or hot water. The only issue was with Internet which could get slow in the evening time. Thank again for making our time in Zagreb a blast.
The Esplanade is a lovely hotel with marvelous food and a great staff who go out of their way to make your stay as personally pleasing as possible. It is on the higher end, but well worth the treat. Close walk to the main arteries and tons of great restaurants. Do love the no smoking as many other bars serving food allow it…so be prepared during the colder months.
The hotel was very nice and clean. Filip at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Also Goran at the restaurant was great. These two really stood out as very good at what they do. They deserve a raise/promotion.
The location was perfect, right in the city center. Our room was very modern, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much and check in and check out process was very easy and fast. The shower and lavender shower gel were so relaxing after walking around town all day!
I already recommended this place to my friends and hope to stay there again when visiting Zagreb.
