"What a fabulous location, bang in the centre of Porto. At £27 per night it was incredible value. Dormitories are not to everyone's taste but careful layout of bunks and privacy curtains make the experience more than pleasant.
After 12 nights on the Camino de Santiago, this was just another routine sleep."

"Oporto Street Fonte Taurina is just one street above Cais de Ribera. That is where all the action is and right on the river. Full of restaurants and shopping, and beautiful views of Vila Nova de Gala. Vila Nova de Gala is also where the Port Wines come from and it is an easy walk across the bridge. "VC Heritage Ribeira Porto was a fantastic find. Perfect location in Ribiera - steps away from the restaurant scene, Luis II bridge to walk to Gaia. They let us store luggage from 7am, which was a huge help. Rodrigo was super responsive via chat, and José and Catarina at the front desk were warm, polite, and gave great recommendations—not just for Porto but for all of Portugal. Highly recommend!"

"The location of this hotel is simply incredible! It is right on the river. We had a room facing the river with a wall of windows and the views are breathtaking. We also had lunch and drinks outside at their bar and loved it. The staff was also very helpful and arranged our transportation from and back to the airport."
