The location is great, except that in 2022 the entire plaza near the hotel is under renovation. Fortunately, windows are well sound-proofed. Excellent comfortable rooms, very clean, friendly staff in all areas, copious buffet breakfast (reasonably priced), small, nice bar with good hours for enjoyment, good restaurants near by, all tourist attractions nearby and shopping, too. This is our 3rd NH hotel and we think it’s a very good brand—value for money.

The rooms look brand new, are very clean and are fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave,dishwasher and even a washing machine. There are also plates, glasses and utensils. The location is perfect as you are right in the middle of the historical Dresden. You can find a full grocery store in the basement of Hallmark place( 5 minutes walk) which is so convenient if you want to have breakfast at home or even make some sandwiches. I would definitely go back there if I was visiting Dresden...

Some of these apartment style rooms are small suites, ours was a large room overlooking Newmarkt with a small kitchen. Although the rebuilt Frauenkirche was right across the street, the hotel's windows were so soundproof that we did not hear the bells of any churches unless we opened the window. There are many excellent restaurants nearby (we chose not to take the hotel's breakfast option and made breakfast in the our kitchen instead). There was no housekeeping during our stay but that's fine...
