The hotel is nice, and in a very safe area The staff were all amazing.

I usually find myself not entirely comfortable in hotels. This was far from true at Citizen M Bowery! The attention to details in the rooms was inspired and thoughtful. I specifically found the shower to be comfortable, great pressure, never running out of hot water, and easy to maneuver in. The whole room was like that. You feel comfortable. I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Water filling station in hallway was a first.

Great location would stay there again.

Great customer service by the team at the front desk, very friendly and helpful. Definitely I will come back but if you planning to dine at the hotel the restaurant is HIGHLY overpriced and drinks are awful. Better to go out and enjoy the city and eat & drink better food.

For the price point & location, this property is great despite small rooms & showers.

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

A delightful artistic vibe in rooms. Cozy and clean. Not much shelf space in bathroom but that’s not a dealbreaker. 😊

The only problem I had was the staff complained when I brought Dunkin Donuts coffee from across the street into the lobby. I’m sorry but when I’m spending $4,000 for a trip I feel like I can get my coffee from anywhere I please They kept saying no outside food or drink

Amazing

My stay was overall excellent! But the shower stall in my room #301 must have previously had glass shower doors. The glass shower doors have been removed and replaced with just a shower curtain. This while odd would have been acceptable except that the shower door floor guides were not removed so the base of the shower entrance had a 5 foot metal edge that could potentially be exceedingly dangerous. I hope the property inspects the facilities and makes these necessary repairs.
