"The Polar Lodge is basic accommodations and economically priced given the options in Kangerlussuaq. Conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk from airport. The Euro/continental breakfast is good although no fruit included. The shared showers and washrooms proved adequate with no waiting. A refrigerator and cooking are provided for preparing your own meals. The grocery store is a across the street with limited hours. A hair dryer would be beneficial as none provided."

"I was welcomed at the front desk by wonderful Icok (that can’t be the right way to spell her name), but she had the biggest smile I’ve seen in all of Greenland. She set the stage for a wonderful stay. You’ve got a lovely hotel."
