"The reception staff were very polite & helpful. The twin room was very clean. Bathroom was clean apart from a cobweb. No complimentary toiletries. The shower water flow was not good. Just about got enough water out to wash. "

"Only stayed one night for a nearby wedding. Alison was massively helpful due to a number of guests staying there but not having time to collect room keys during the day. Very accommodating. Rooms were neat and clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast choice of continental and cooked. All the staff were cheery and helpful."

"Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."
