"Parking was a bit tricky, and the directions at check-in weren’t the best, but it was still easy enough to find. The room itself was clean, though the bathrooms are shared and located outside. Expect some bugs like grasshoppers on the walls and beetles in the sink—it’s pretty remote. Overall, for the price, it was worth staying in the area esp it being so close to Kings Canyon. "
"We booked not knowing we couldn’t get from Hamilton Island to Ares Rock in a day but they cut us NO slack and both Expedia and Sails in the Desert said we had to eat the $400 dollars for 1 night. I am so turned off by them because they should have told us, considering we were flying in from across the world and had no idea. It’s not like we cancelled because we had reason. I will never recommend them and hope others don’t get caught up in this. Sails on the Dessert sucks!!!"
"This would be our 3rd or 4th stay at Argus Hotel,Sherherd st. Darwin
The staff are very smily and helpful.
The rooms are very clean.
Unfortunately the bed wasnt as comfortable as our previous stays.
The air-conditioning is super effective
The laundry is very handy
The location is close to all we need.
We will definitely stay again"
"Nice pool. Dining was limited & not very good food or drink. Female waiter was rude at Gecko’s. IGA at the resort was a convenient place to get snacks & water. Bugs & flies were horrendous & relentless; our bug nets over our hats were essential"
"Reception lady was rude, the room was disgustingly dirty.we checked straight out refusing to stay people were hanging around. I had another customer lget verbally aggressive at me because i told the reception lady that the room was filthy & the people hanging around didbt seem safe..."
