Majestic Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our visit to the majestic Palace hotel. The property is absolutely gorgeous newly renovated very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautifully maintained with gorgeous blooming and fragrant roses. The view from our room was spectacular overlooking the Mediterranean and the city. Our room was recently renovated and was just amazing with all the amenities and extremely quiet and comfortable. It was easy to walk to any place and the restaurants and bars nearby were very convenient. Highly recommend this property. The staff spoke English, and we felt very comfortable with our communication from start to finish."
"All the staff were exceptional, friendly and offered advice, and useful information.Top tip - Pick up a map from the front desk. The location on the bay front was picturesque especially at night. Everything we needed was within walking distance and if we wanted to venture further a taxi rank was just around the corner. We enjoyed the Elements bar and a special mention to the two staff called Rita! Their cocktails were very popular with us .There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the best coffee. Whether you like pastries, cereals yoghurts or cooked food, it was available. The room had an ensuite with a good shower and was serviced every day. The towels were large bath towels, nice and soft. The hotel had lifts to every floor, and it was good that there was comfortable seating in both the reception area and the bar.Although evening meals were available in the hotel,we either walked across the bridge to the far end near all the boat moorings and found restaurant there or went slightly away from the harbour inland. There is also a Gelato shop just next to the hotel. We were slightly disappointed that the swimming pool on the top floor was not ready in mid may but I believe it opens in June. We will stay here again in the future if coming to Naples."
"I cannot say enough on how helpful the staff was. We had an issue with the room the first day, Diane and Raja went out of their way in resolving issue and moved us to a different room. The staff at breakfast Marianna and her team was very welcoming and helpful and friendly.
We had an enjoyable stay."
"This is an excellent hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights and left the city for Sorrento. On the way back from Sorrento to Rome, we stopped at Naples for visiting Chapel of Sansevero. The hotel was very kind to offer us free luggage storage. We highly appreciate that.
Also the breakfast was great."
"Lovely views, great balcony spaces, and friendly staff who made our stay here effortless. Breakfast is worth the extra charge; it was the largest buffet selection we experienced on our trip. It was enjoyable to be higher up in the city as it was quieter. Would recommend walking uphill from the hotel to experience more local shops and grocery stores. To maintain your sanity, DO NOT walk yourself and your suitcase to the hotel. Pay the porters. Or, if you must, take the road, not the stairs."
