"We stayed at the Stables cottage in Clarendon Cottages. I have been staying at the Dandenong Ranges for 20 years but I was extremely impressed with this place. Visually just gorgeous - attention to detail - and every effort made for a comfortable stay. The Stables is a twin bedroom cottage - with beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Our night included breakfast and our own private garden, cupboard with toys and games and even a decanter of port with glasses!! Just wow!! I will not hesitate to rebook...
"The view from our room was absolutely stunning! The location was great, just a short drive or a 25 minute walk to the centre of Sassafras.
Justin was very kind and knowledgeable about the area, and happy to give us ideas for local places to eat.
We wish we didn’t have to leave at the end of our trip!"
"Nice and safe security, although the gate was left open one evening. Great location and the adjacent hotel was excellent for food on both evenings. Highly recommend and if all NightCaps are premises like this and the Wollongong one, I know where will stay when next in Australia!
Well done Ferntree Gully Motel. Tony S"
"The apartment was clean and inviting, the staff were very welcoming. A great location if staying in the eastern suburbs. Train station 500 metres away, supermarket close by. "
"It's an older place I think so some cosmetic issues but for the price I actually found it to be much better than I expected! Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and functional. It was quiet so easy to rest. Very close to everything I needed. Clean, comfy bed. The staff I dealt with were lovely and very helpful. I would stay there again."
"This has a been a regular stay for me and my family dating right back to my wedding night 18 years ago. Lovely staff, great facilities and we will be back"
"I have stayed here many times as it is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location at Eastland.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable.
We ate at the Partakes restaurant both nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Quality food and well presented."
"Great accomodation. Has all the amenities you need to feel almost like home. Staff are helpful and friendly. Across the street from an enormous shopping centre. Bush walks and nature attractions are countless in the area."
"Had a family member stayed at a hospital nearby for 4 nights it was perfect to be able to come and go from the accommodation.
Best RSL club Nextdoor was fabulous for meals.
Would happily stay there again"
