"Hotel is very clean. Great staff and very accommodating. Rooms had lots of closet space, nice towels, good AC, quiet, and a variety of choices at breakfast. Used Uber and Taxis to get around. Lots of activity around the square where the Casa de Montejo is. Caught a children parade as part of the Merida Festival. There are some excellent restaurants in Merida. Yerba Santa at the top of the list. Tigre Blanco had great Japanese food. "

"We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!! "

"I stayed for three nights at Hotel Las Brisas Mérida and had a great experience overall. The staff were kind and attentive, always ready to help with local recommendations and transportation. The location is excellent — close enough to the historic center to walk or take a quick taxi, but in a quiet area that feels relaxed and safe.
