Location is central, just around the corner to the main plaza in the historic centre with several museums, the Solis Theatre, shops etc. in walking distance. However the city streets tended to be pretty empty with all the shops shuttered - be alert while walking or take Ubers. "The Casablanca Hotel has a very collegial staff who take a lot of pride in the property. The hotel has a dining area with a microwave and an electric kettle that makes breakfast easy, and a spot where you can make a cup of coffee when you want. I was especially impressed with the housekeeping staff. Everyone spoke to this 73 old solo traveler and made me feel welcome.
