"This was my second stay at the Carlisle Hotel in Sarasota, and I enjoyed it once again. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water and being placed on the floor I requested. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The pool area was nice, though the spa was closed on one day and the weather was chilly. Breakfast was acceptable but repetitive, with the same options offered each morning. The hotel is ideal for a clean and comfortable stay, though it offers limited on-site entertainment, as there is no restaurant or music."

"Very nicely updated room that was clean and spacious with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet, relaxing, safe neighborhood just steps from a beautiful white sand beach. It's a down low retro Florida vibe that recharges you. The Frog Hop is a free trolley that takes you around the island. It was so fun. A vibrant night life too."

"We arrived late at night and had no issues getting our room; the night clerk was friendly. The room was large and clean. The bed itself was comfortable but there was no mattress protector and the pillows were the size of a couch throw pillow. I can’t comment on breakfast because we met our son for breakfast at a local restaurant. It was a good value compared to other hotels in the area. I would stay here again but bring my own pillows. "
