"It’s been great but some couch is no good "

"The hotel was fine - not super clean, but the staff were very very friendly and accommodating and the room was quite large. The building was new, but not very well-built. You could hear every, single thing outside the room, especially street noise. Thankfully, it was on a quiet street. There was also a strong mould smell in the bathroom and the shower door didn’t close properly so the bathroom flooded whenever it was on. "A short 10 minutes drive from airport (traffic dependant). Amazing staff, always pleasant and helpful. Rooms were large and very clean. Showers had great water pressure and air conditioner worked almost too well. Decent breakfast spread in the morning and able to store bags as well. We would highly recommend this hotel"

"Le Meridien Cairo is my go-to for stopovers in Cairo, an easy short walk from arrivals area. The staff has always been helpful and accommodating especially when arriving at odd hours at CAI. The facilities are well maintained. The breakfast has quite the variety. Looking forward to my next visit or stopover in Cairo!"

"The Novotel was very nice! However the complementary airport pickup requires you to call the shuttle to know you are there. The documentation didn’t tell us that. Also, our friends booked a room which INcluded the buffet dinner (& breakfast?) and it was less expensive. Compare your options. We had a great experience here and enjoyed the outside Italian grill restaurant. The pictures on the site were spot on. We would consider staying here again."

"Top notch hotel with very accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Beautiful bar. We asked for a balcony and got one of the few. My husband was ill and they got a doctor within an hour and meds delivered within another 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend if want to be in Heliopolis and close to airport. It is much less frantic than Cairo."

"This is an exceptional hotel. . It's very conveniently situated near the Pyramids and new Grand Egyptian Museum. It thoroughly deserves it's 5* rating But what makes it special is the staff. Without exception welcoming, smiling and gracious. Always looking to make sure your stay is perfect. I will return, if only to relax by the pool ! This is a true Oasis. "
