![The Palace of Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France. It is also known as the Château de Versailles. When the château was built, Versailles was a country village; today, however, it is a wealthy suburb of Paris, some 20 kilometres southwest of the French capital. The court of Versailles was the centre of political power in France from 1682, when Louis XIV moved from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in October 1789 after the beginning of the French Revolution. Versailles is therefore famous not only as a building, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy of the Ancien Régime. Tourist attraction and art exhibition site The Fifth Republic has enthusiastically promoted the museum as one of France's foremost tourist attractions. "I really enjoyed my stay here as a solo traveler! The staff was super friendly and helpful, I loved the area. The breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the coffee machines! The room was also comfortable, albeit small. It was perfect for just me! If you are traveling with a partner I might consider getting the larger room option though as it could get tight in the room I was in. No complaints! I’d definitely stay here again. "

"I recently stayed at Les Jardins du Marais and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a very decent and safe area, well-connected to the city, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The property itself has cozy vibes and a unique charm that sets it apart.
I initially booked a Classical Room, which I found to be quite noisy and a bit outdated. However, after upgrading to an Executive Room, my entire stay was elevated—the difference was remarkable, and I will definitely book this type of room again as it’s absolutely worth the extra cost.
The guest service was exceptional. The team proactively checked if everything was fine before I even approached them, and they resolved my issue swiftly and professionally. Special thanks to Vanessa for her excellent online support and to Ouassila at the reception for handling the room change with such professionalism.
Overall, I highly recommend Les Jardins du Marais for its location, charm, and outstanding staff."
