Make sure you read this whole review particularly re: driving to Finca. This place is amazing. From the moment we arrived in the evening, Patricia was there to greet us with an offer of coffee or beer. The hospitality continued through our stay. The views are simply spectacular. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding. Saw many hummingbirds and a parrot from room. We stayed in the main house. The room is a bit small but had everything we needed, beds and hot water. They also have 2 glamping tents which are close to the main house and a cabin that is about a two hour hike from the main house. Both of these options look great based on photos. Finca Los Arboles is off the beaten path (which we liked) and requires a 4x4 to reach the property.Trust me, you will not get there via car or a simple SUV. Must be a vehicle with adequate ground clearance as the road is not paved and has many large rocks that must be strattled. Even if you have a 4x4, the road is still daunting as it is very narrow. Once you enter the property, the ride up to the main house is about 10 minutes and is a very pretty view. If you have a car as we did, you must park your car in a parking lot in town and take a taxi to Finca. Patricia set this all up for us and we were able to communicate via Whatsapp. The only thing i would recommend to the owners is that they bring the dogs inside in the evening. One night we were woken a few times by dogs barking, most likely due to something they heard on the property.
