Though the check in process was smooth and the staff was friendly/helpful; the room left much to be desired.
Upon getting into my room, there was a used hand towel on the sink, and the hand soap bar was unwrapped and used. Unsure if this was from housekeeping or the guest before me...so due to that, I was weary about the status of the bed and other surfaces.
On the second night, I went to take a shower despite my hesitancies. The shower floor was in need of a deep clean. I stood on a towel. Several minutes in, the bottom of the shower started to fill up despite the drain being unobstructed. I quickly exited because standing in dirty, ponding water was not the experience I wanted. It took over an hour for the water to drain out completely. It was late, I was not concerned with packing up my things and requesting another room. However, for the price of this stay, very disappointed in the state of the room. Next time I will look to stay at cheaper option in Jackson that has higher cleaning standards.
