Booked a 2 night stay 1st-3rd May 2025. Upon arrival went for a drink in the bar. The bar was rammed, there was nowhere to sit and a big queue at the bar. Despite this the hotel was letting more and more people in, who weren't even staying at the hotel. By 1 pm the bar had run out of food. Place was filthy, uncollected glasses & plates on tables, cigarette butt ends in plant pots, toilets were a disgrace. This is a Small Luxury Hotel of the world, but in our experience it is anything but. Ended up only staying for 1 night because it was so awful. Complained to the General Manager who agreed to refund us for the second night. Just need someone from Hotels.com to contact me about this as there are no contact details anywhere on the website. The hotel cannot refund me directly as the booking was via a third party ie. Hotels.com
