Came the day after halloween, was told it would be a little bit before we could check in at 4 pm. We finally got checked in at 6. Not a good start to a mini vacation. Lounge was not a good experience either. Over priced food for reheated queso and chips. Wifes drink had no orange or pineapple juice in it all sour mix and was nasty. Room was good just not a good start.

The only thing I can complain about is that the room had an odd smell like very dried paint, besides that, great front desk support/hospitality and communication with guidance

The building and grounds were very nice. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. We thought the room was rather utilitarian. It was comfortable, but no chairs except one at the desk. All in all a pleasant stay.

Nice Castle. Kind of away from the main town by about 3 miles or so. Too far to walk. Staff friendly. Not sure I would return, fun to stay once. No ghosts seen.

I loved being at the Castle, it was great and I enjoyed the entire place and the staff were wonderful! This was somewhere that I always wanted to stay and it lived up to my expectations! We ate at the restaurant and the food was Great! We will be back again!

This was a unique opportunity to stay in a castle. There are a lot of stairs. However, Amber, at the front desk made the whole stay wonderful. She took us up with a 1920 original elevator with our luggage. The castle has claims of paranormal activity but, we did not experience anything unusual. We had a window looking out at the harbor which was a welcome sight to wake up to. There is a bar and restaurant in house but we went to explore the town and ate at Sirens which was wonderful and had a karaoke night.

Fun old pile with a ghost story! Stayed here for two nights with family because of its somewhat unique history and vibe. The hotel is shabby, the restaurant has a mundane menu and is only available for dinner. The elevator can only be operated when staff are at the desk, which means it isn't available for guests arriving after hours. Still, we had fun staying here. Definitely not a chain hotel experience. Rooms are large, there were deer in the garden. Plenty of hot water. But few special amenities. Great value if you are staying off-peak. Overpriced for those travelling in high season given what you get for your money.

Front desk lady was great, sweet and friendly. Beds soft and comfortable. Shower was a little on the cold side. Its a little run down but fun to spend a night or two.

We are hoping to experience paranormal activity during our stay. The front desk staff -Amber Dawn, was super helpful, friendly and informative. She even took us to the 3rd floor in the oldest elevator in the state. Room is clean & comfortable. It has a/c and ensuite bath. I would've appreciated hooks in the bathroom for clothes and somewhere in the shower to place soap, shampoo, etc. The shower was very small & took a while to get hot water. I'd stay again.

Great Service!

We had a good stay at Manresa Castle. The building and its history are intriguing. Amber Dawn at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. She told us to try the Blue Moose something for brunch and we liked it. Bed was comfortable. The old elevator was cool.
