The suite was above an ice cream parlour which was great for dessert and could walk to Summerside. We loved it. Would go back.

Stayed 4 nights at Holman’s, decided to come early and it was fantastic. They were able to accommodate, spent time speaking with the owners, Daniel he’s very helping us out to discover all parts of the island. Highly recommend this central location. Hopefully, we’ll be able to return sometime soon.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the three rooms upstairs from the lively ice cream parlor located in a grand heritage home. Our room (#3) was an apartment with a full kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor, and a large attic bedroom with 2 queen beds. Highly recommended.

This is really a special place with attentive proprietors. Our suite (#2, the Sister’s Suite) was huge, with bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a little balcony and we especially appreciated the supplied coffee for mornings. Ending each day in the garden was an added treat, as was Holman’s delicious ice cream (their Vanilla Surprise tastes like my homemade, egg-yolk-based recipe). The on-delivery hot water system was a little wonky during the hours when the shop was opening/closing, but we loved this place and we’d definitely stay again.

If you don't like ice cream and don't like to see happy people consuming it then don't come here. But aside from those 2 or souls, everyone else will love to stay here. Our suite was spacious and clean, the staff kind and helpful. A beautiful heritage building in the heart of Summerside, one block off the Confederation Trail.

6/10 Buena

Ellen’s Garden suite was adequate for our length of stay, the location was convenient for our travel plans. We found the suite to be quite noisy especially at closing time as the ice parlour was right below us. The amenities in the suite could use some improvement especially for cooking. We found the property and location very interesting given the history of Summerside. Our host. Daniel, was very friendly and helpful!
