Belton charged me a $250.00 deposit for each night on the last three nights of my stay, a total of $750! That was, of course, in addition to the already pre-paid hotel rate through Hotels.com. They refused to give me a reciept for any of these deposits. Restaurant expenses are supposed to be taken off of the deposit(s) at this property. Restaurant staff played sickening little games pretending I had no room at the hotel, like placing your dinner at the empty table setting next to yours as if it was not your order, etc. They claimed that they were having problems with their computer system, and could not take the restaurant charge off of my deposit - so I had to pay the restaurant directly, with my card rather that putting it 'on the room'. They might have been having computer issues, but I did not appreciate their sickningness and inapproprate behaviour at the restaurant, esp. when I had put down $750 for amenities - which was supposed to include the restaurant. I still have no notice that this $750 has been refunded or released.
