What a beautiful hotel. Very aesthetic and very guest oriented. Kyriaki is brilliant and so very guest oriented. Every query of ours was reverted to regardless of what time we asked. Our stay was wonderful and the view from our room with balcony so beautiful. Amenities are very well laid, and housekeeping does a wonderful job daily in cleaning and resetting the room. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

We only stayed one night, but wish we could’ve stayed longer! Eva was so helpful in getting us settled in, setting up a taxi to the airport, truly amazing hospitality. It’s a beautiful building with great views of the harbour. Can’t beat the location either!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an absolutely wonderful time! It was very centrally located, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Would definitely recommend!

Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return. The location was incredible and the interior and exterior of the 500 year old building provided for such a unique experience. Despite it being an older historical building the rooms were updated with great amenities. I’d recommend this to anyone, the best place we stayed on our Europe travels!

Quaint and lovely!

This amazing quaint hotel on the waterfront was just what we needed! A welcome surprise for first-time visitors to Chania. It had a lovely historic feel with alcoves, patios, windows, and beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious and the room was tidy and spacious and quiet. Decorations were reminiscent of an old villa. And the staff were so attentive and lovely! Highly recommend!

Romantic holiday

We are so glad we booked this small hotel. In the end of the harbor with great location and view over the lighthouse and the city. The staff was so friendly and you could tell they loved the hotel. The house is old But very charming and many old details are still there. We loved the room, it was clean, very comfortable bed, the bathroom was nicely decorated. If you looking for a small hotel with lots of love and style you should definitely book this!

Probably the best hotel in Chania. The location is perfect, and the atmosphere is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. We were impressed from the very beginning. The building, just like the lovely receptionist, is 500 years old, and everywhere you can find secret doors. Thank you for everything, and we hope to see you again someday. Amazing location, looking over the lighthouse and harbour. The owner is fantastic and very helpful. Parking in the area can be tricky; Talos square is often full so you need to park on the street. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and filling. I highly recommend.

This was one of the coolest hotels we have stayed in. It is a 500 year old castle. The rooms are huge, with very comfortable beds and the best rain shower. The staff are so friendly and accommodating to all your needs. They also give you a traditional Greek breakfast in the morning. The location was perfect with fun shops, restaurants and the beach. 4 night stay in late March/Early April. Beautiful location on the harbor. Great atmosphere. Felt extremely safe. Eva was very welcoming and room was lovely. Parking is nearby and is free, and an easy walk with roller bags. Would definitely return and our visit wasn’t nearly long enough.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was just on the edge of the port so it was quiet and peaceful but a short walk to all the action. Ava was very kind, sweet, helpful, and so accommodating. We highly recommend staying here!
