This hotel is expensive and it’s taking advantage of its old glory days. The hotel apparently recently went bankrupt and got bought back and it is bad.
The best experience in the entire place was the cleaning lady who was amazing.
The gentleman at the reception is rude at best, and said no to just about everything. Room is done every other day ( I was leaving in 2 days anyways, thank god the wonderful cleaning lady agrees to clean my room). Never anyone at the reception, gym is dirty and abandoned, no pool on site or restaurant. Breakfast is 23 dollars for packaged pastries and yoghurt, boiled eggs and bad coffee. I came downstairs at 1045 (closes at 11 on weekends) and the guys were already done with no ability to honour their own hours.
Rude inflexible people. (Et oui, je suis bilingue) Hotel has this abandoned feel, rooms are decent and clean. But the hotel next door is way cheaper, all ocean views, has a wonderful restaurant.
So for the price, not worth it. If you’re trying to revive it, be nice, accommodating and show effort to provide customer service. Don’t be the king of “pas capable”
