Great family-owned hotel right on the beach! The property is very well maintained, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the direct beach access is a huge plus. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time, and we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel immediately welcome and provided great local restaurant recommendations. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily walk to nearby dining, and the parking was very convenient. Additionally, our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a kitchenette. Thank you for a great stay. We definitely plan to return!

Older hotel that's been renovated nicely. The room was small but nice and it had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and they had things you could borrow for the beach, like chairs and umbrellas. The beach and surrounding area in general were nice and quiet as well, which is just what we were looking for.

My Husband and I stayed at the Beacon for our Honeymoon, it was absolutely a wonderful stay, the staff was so kind and even had a gift for us. They have a ton of beach items to borrow and the walk from the hotel to the beach is short and super easy. The only comment we have is the bed we particularly had was extremely firm. This was our first time staying here and we are already planning to rebook.

This place is a hidden gem. The owner, Christina, is amazing and very attentive to guests and is very pet friendly. It was clean, newly renovated, and adorable. The outdoor area has wonderful surprises like a ping pong table, cornhole, and other games. There's an outdoor seating area with full grill and the store across the street was very convenient for anything you may have left at home, groceries, and other necessities. The only drawback may be for anyone with mobility issues. Beach Access requires navigating down steps to get from atop the dunes to the beach. However there's is a wonderful seating area on the deck above the dunes where sunset viewing is delightful. The hotel is conveniently located midway between Atlantic Beach and emerald Isle making both ends of the island very accessible. Christina had done a wonderful job of thinking and including all the little things that make this place feel welcoming and like family. Definitely check it out!

The room was fantastic and we actually got an upgrade for no reason at all. The beach was a short walk away. Our dog LOVED every part of our stay too. Christina is a lovely host who really just gets people and comfort. She is perfect for her role and so much more! Thank you to Christina, her father, and Jesus for keeping everything clean, stocked, and easy during our stay. We will absolutely be coming back to Beacon.
