I chose this motel purely on price as I simply needed something cheap and cheery for a couple of nights, so my expectation was low.
On the first night, it sounded as if someone was either redecorating in the next room, or bagging and moving a body. This went on well into the early hours. The second night every tradie within a 50km radius must have been staying there, and they all decided to bring their F250s. Needless to say, the only car space available was down a lane wide enough for a bicycle. On the last night, some god awful alarm went off across the street at 4 in the morning, and since the window above the entry door wouldn't close, I spent the early morning being serenaded by sirens, literally.
Overall, I would recommend getting a tent and staying at the Cotter.
