We got there a couple hours early before check-in and they still told us we couldn’t check in yet. So a couple hours later when it was time, we were able to check in. As soon as we opened the door to the room, we immediately saw the bed wasn’t made all the way. Thinking that was odd, we went to investigate further and noticed dirty wet towels in the bathtub. And a rag on the bathroom counter. It was not what you’d want to walk into, especially paying over $200 for the one night. So I tried to call front desk, only to find out that the telephone in the room wasn’t even working! I don’t know what exactly we were waiting to check in for as room service didn’t even bother finishing up. I went down to the front desk and they told me room service had left for the day. I explained the situation. Just to be clear I wasn’t mad at the staff at the desk, I was mad at room service. The girl working there was nice enough to try to make things better, even though she wasn’t supposed to. She fixed the room up for us with new towels and sheets and offered us a couple water bottles. I’m sure it’s just a one time thing, but I’ll most likely never stay there again. The rooms are a bit outdated also. My in-laws were in the room next to ours and they had no issues, only some ants crawling around in the bathroom. Ours had a giant spider in the window… just be cautious if you decide to stay here.
