Firstly this hotel is not 4star as advertised more like 3 star The location very good only 5 to 10 minutes from beach and good restaurants The staff were very helpful and curious. One thing no one to help with carrying suitcases to rooms on first floor as an older couple had to ask for a ground floor room having booked a first floor room The pool area’s very clean and cleaned regularly shame about the sunbeds very old and had plenty of wear so uncomfortable The pool bar was good and the owner very nice we understood that this is a franchise The gardens well maintained The rooms were clean but very dated did need a bit of maintenance we had a superior room a good size room but cupboard space limited also had to buy hangers only 6 in small wardrobe also had no coffee or tea facilities had to buy a kettle and mugs The breakfast was not very good the continental always the same no variety also the fruit was never prepared as for the hot not very good Now for the bar nice seating area but had only cans and bottles which is fine but if wanted a spirit no ice available I am afraid will not be returning

We have stayed here before and the hotel is now tired. Weeds growing on pathways / at pool. Flower beds not maintained. The sun loungers are past it and consequently uncomfortable. There were 2 only umbrellas for 3 pool areas and limited options for shade. There was work going on but too late for this stage of the season, particularly having 1 pool completely closed off. Room was fine but a couple of pictures and a soft chair would help. The loo seat needs replaced….. very bad. Breakfast - in 2026 this is just sub standard. I’m sure many judge a place by the breakfast. Coffee - poor. 2 shabby toasters. Honey in a big pot with a spoon that just about reaches. Someone needs to think about it all. Potential is all there.

Dated, and unkept, but a pretty good Luz option.

The pool is really clean and nice. The pool bar is closed indefinitely which was a shame. Breakfast ends at 9:30 which seems really early to me so I missed that opportunity. The bathrooms were pretty gross but I didn't feel like I was staying in a dirty room. Aside from a few gross hairs on the shower head. The hotel is extremely dated. The landscaping really needs to be maintained better. I'm sure 20 years ago this was an awesome place, but I do understand that there's not a ton of selection in Luz, so overall was happy to stay in this location
