We arrived at 6:45 pm and were told that our room wasn’t ready because they were busy. This was irritating, but we went with it. We walked across the street for dinner and waited for a phone call to check in. The room was ready by 8:00. We asked upon checking in if we could get a room facing the back parking lot to keep an eye on our truck and trailer. We were told yes, they could do that. When we got to the room we were on the wrong side of the hotel and there was nothing they could do. We just accepted it and moved on. The room was pretty nice. I would hope that for almost $300 per night that there would be a decent pillow, instead we found extremely flat pillows that were made to look “fluffed” because they were folded in half. They also do not provide bags for dirty laundry. This could be a nice place if it were staffed correctly.
After a sleepless night due to being uncomfortable from the terrible pillows, we decided to get up and leave early. I walked out to the truck to find our truck opened and it had obviously been broken into. It has an alarm that works, but somehow the security officer who is supposed to be monitoring nor the staff had any idea. I was told by the desk clerk (who obviously had better things to do than to address our concerns) that her manager would arrive at 9 am and would call me. It is now 2:30pm and not a word. I would not recommend staying here unless there is a change to their staffing, it is seriously lacking.
