Hotel less than 2 months old when we arrived & we had trouble getting in. Press doorbell to the right, there was no bell. Fought with the door before someone let us in. I hadn't received the check in email so wasn't aware to bring a passport. Supposed to be self check in but doesn't work without passport. BE WARNED. My driving license was then used to verify me and a photo of it put in a Whatsapp group. I was NOT happy about this. It could still be in there for all I know.
The bed was comfortable, the pillows were thin and cheap. AC worked well. Fridge was a nice touch but we didn't use it.
Carpets on the stairs but not outside the rooms, or in the rooms, so we heard everything amplified from other rooms and when people left their rooms. It was often loud.
£300+ for two nights, and I remember paying the additional £20 for a king size bed but we were only given a double.
Note on the wall told us to take our own rubbish out and where to put it. I didn't pay good money to take my own rubbish out.
Overall the hotel is nice, the decor is bright and colourful and it's shiny as it's new. The location is good, at the end of Marble Arch, about a 30 minute walk from Theatreland if you're there for shows.
The man that helped manually check us in on his computer was nice but I don't know what we would have done if he wasn't there, and I'm still not happy that my details could still be in a Whatsapp group somewhere.
Would I stay again, no, it's a little far out, recommend it, yes.
