Great hotel

Kantu hotel is a really good choice. It is in a central location in Cusco and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We stayed either side of 2 treks and they stored our bags without question. If I visit Cusco again I would go there

Only a couple minutes from the major city spots like Mercado de San Pesro, Plaza de Armas, Avenida del Sol to exchange money and lots of food. Very friendly staff that even packed us our breakfast for our morning excursion.

A great value hotel in an excellent location

A lovely hotel in a busy and vibrant part of the city with great access to the historic parts of Cusco. The hotel is great value for money, very clean and well looked after. All the people working there are helpful, friendly and kind, working tirelessly to make guests enjoy there stay. When we stayed the clientele were a friendly mix of familes with youngsters, groups of friends and couples.

Photos are not respective of the hotel! There is no heat in the hotel! Floors in the room are “filthy“ upon ARRIVAL! Blood stained curtains! Very unpleasant smell. Bed has a sink in the middle allowing for poor sleep! Would never recommend. Will be challenging cost!

The hotel furniture is brand new, and the jacuzzi is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything, both from outside and inside the hotel. It’s very difficult to sleep, so I strongly recommend bringing earplugs. Also, when you book the hotel, you’ll receive a message about transportation services and tours that the hotel can arrange for you. Just a heads-up: that never actually happens. Communication between the hotel staff and guests, especially if you’re booking from outside Peru, is very poor.

Hello! I hope this review helps a lot of fellow travelers from making the same MISTAKE I did. First let me start by saying that I arrived to this hotel on July 5th around 12:00pm. Upon arriving, I knocked on the door because there was NO SIGN that says “ring the bell, do not knock”. A guy comes out and says “do you not see the bell, you cannot knock the door”. Uhm excuse me? Did you put a sign!? That says ring the bell thats all the way to the top right side of the wall?. This guy wears glasses and was very rude upon arrival. My first night at this hotel was spent on the 4th floor. My bathroom was full of ANTS. The name of this hotel should be ANTU instead of KANTU cause it’s infested with ants. My sheets were DISGUSTING. They were so dirty I could not even grasp the reality of what was going on with this room. The towels smelled like wet dirty alpacas. And the WORST part of it all was that the heater connected to the wall did not work!!! I literally froze the whole night. The next day I spoke to someone at the reception and they said they would switch me to another room. To leave my bags packed and they would move everything for me. I specifically asked for a room with a heater that works and they said yes they would get me a room with a working heater. I come back from my tour that day and I am now on the second floor room 217. I walk in and there is no shower curtain in this room. Taking a shower was awful and painful due to the room being cold. The heater in

Excelente experiencia en el Hotel Kantu Mi estadía en el Hotel Kantu fue maravillosa. La ubicación es perfecta, justo al lado del mercado de San Pedro y a pocos minutos caminando de la Plaza de Armas, ideal para conocer Cusco. El personal fue muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y muy tranquilas. Además, el desayuno fue delicioso y con productos frescos. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme aquí y lo recomiendo totalmente.
