For the money, great. Perfect for a night.
The room was very clean, beds comfortable, and shower hot with good water pressure. The only downside was the thinness of the walls - we could hear everyone coming and going and people speaking in the neighbouring room. The front door was also left ajar every time we came or went, which felt very insecure considering there’s no front desk or staff.

Do not stay here!
This was the absolute worst hotel I've stayed in over the last 10 years and I have stayed at some very economical and basic hotels. The bathroom was so small that you could not shut the door and the shower was so small that I had to contort to pick up my razor. I am 5'4" and 140 lbs. The sink leaked all over the bathroom floor and we had to keep a towel down. The room did not smell good at all. The walls, ceiling and floors were dirty. The electric went out and I could not get the hotel to answer the phone or call me back so I called Hotels.com and they couldn't get in touch with them either. I called every hour for 7.5 hours until I called Hotels.com. Hotels said I could get another room and they would reimburse me if the hotel confirmed that they should. We had 2 rooms here and 5 ppl. We did not want to move everyone with such little time left so we all stayed in the same room one night :/ The electricity was on the next day without our knowledge. I cannot recommend and my asks are never too much. Customer service never got in touch with me.

No Business Running a Hotel
Awful. Avoid. I can't express how terrible this company is - it's a complete basket case. We booked a double room with private bathroom at OYO Lime Grove and received a confirmation of this by email. Weeks later, we checked our booking online to find the details had changed - a double room with shared bathroom at OYO Oban Victoria (apparently the same building with a different name). We phoned and spoke to a very unhelpful person who seemed to be experiencing their first ever phone call. We decided to keep our booking and make the best of it, for practical reasons. The hotel requested that we pay in advance via their online portal and also upload a copy of our passport, which we did. On the day of check in, we received confirmation codes and door entry codes whilst travelling to london. An hour later we received an email (addressed to Julia, whoever she is) saying '...due to some unfortunate circumstances we are unable to accommodate your booking... we've initiated a refund which will reach you in 7 to 14 days..." I phoned them immediately and they were unable to give me a reason for the cancellation. Their website and expedia etc continued to show that they had ample availability, in all of their hotels across central London, at a now higher price. We arrived in London in the dark, but were lucky to find alternative accom'n elsewhere at a similar price. The refund arrived the following morning, but they now have all our details including a copy of our passports.

Nightmare hotel - do not use
This hotel should be removed from your listings. I was sent information about the key code to enter then a week later I was sent a new one. On arrival the new code did not work and I tried 5 times. The neighbours were outside and they suggested I phone the number on the hotel sign. This I did but there was only a recorded message. So I tried the original key code and that worked. Once in the room it was very cold and there were no towels. There was no one around to ask for towels etc. There was no bedside light so you have to turn the light off and stumble to find the bed. Then there was noise from a neighbouring room which seemed to be from another guest complaining about the lack of service. After midnight there was a loud bang as if someone was trying to break in. Then the alarm sounded for about 10 minutes. I was too scared to see what was going on. When I left the next morning 21 November at 9am I found the front door open and the lock broken and a pair of man’s brown shoes on the front doorstep. I hardly slept due to the disturbance and was terrified. Also I was unable to wash due to the lack of towels. My worst hotel experience ever and I am unable to contact the hotel to leave a review as there is a problem with their website. I now no longer have faith in hotels.com although I have previously had good experiences.

“I do not recommend this accommodation. We arrived an hour earlier than expected. The room was not ready, and we had to wait for cleaning, which only involved changing the bed linens. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed after the previous guest, as shown in the attached photos. The bathroom was shared, though it was advertised as a private bathroom, and anyone could enter because it didn’t have an external lock, which actually happened as we heard. The window couldn’t be opened, and it was noisy. It was a terrible experience.”

Hôtel bien situé. Pas de réception : on reçoit un message suivi d'un enregistrement en ligne,et ensuite un code. Le code reçu n'a pas fonctionné, je ne pouvais entrer dans l'hôtel. Le service de chat en ligne ne répond jamais. J'ai dû joindre à plusieurs reprises un employé par téléphone, à l'accent exotique, difficile à comprendre. J'ai finalement pu gagner ma chambre deux heures après. Tous les jours je voyais des clients qui ne pouvaient accéder à leur chambre. Salle de bains commune (incluant les seules toilettes), microscopique, sans miroir. Pas de lavabo dans la chambre. Pas de lit fait, de serviettes remplacées, de produits (thé, café, gel douche) renouvelés en plus de dix jours, malgré mes demandes. Le code ne fonctionnait plus le matin de mon départ. Arrivé à 10:10 à l'hôtel, alors que le check-out était à 20:30, je n'ai pu entrer dans l'hôtel. Après de longs appels, j'ai pu le faire à 12:15 quand on m'a envoyé la femme de ménage pour m'ouvrir. J'ai failli rater mon avion. Expérience très désagréable que je ne renouvellerai sous aucun prétexte.

Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel une vrai galère pour accéder à la chambre !!! Jai contacter l'hôtel pour avoir le code d'accès.. la personne a refuser de nous le donner car il nous fallait un code a 9 ciffres or nous n'avions aucun code .. du coup nous avons contacter hotel.com qui nous a demander de recontacter l'hôtel... heureusement entre temps un homme de ménage nous a vu en galere donc il nous a ouvert grace a notre reservation .. si il netait pas passer par la nous aurions passer le sejour a l'extérieur !!!

The location is decent, walking distance to Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Big Ben, etc…but the hotel itself is not a good one: Nobody responds to emails, no way to get code to room to get into the room, old and rickety, the main door was open so anyone could come in, safety was an issue for this….i ended up getting another hotel room as I was not able to get into our room

Could not sray so lost our money as could not cope with online check in and no reception. Feel that for older people it is not possible also do not feel safe with no person on site. Phoned day before and did not get any help not happy. Waste of our money.

Never again
Awful awful terrible the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The shower ran cold and not once did it warm up in our room. It was freezing cold. I had to leave and go to another hotel just to shower. I reached out three times and no one even bothered to help or respond. The room was absolutely dirty and disgusting, not even cleaned or hoovered. The worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty room, dirty bathroom and the alarm down stairs had a fault which was triggering a annoying beeping sound. Awful awful terrible place.

Property was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after the posted check in time. Housekeeping didn’t vacuum the carpet, front door was busted open 2 days into our stay and not repaired even though I reported it. WiFi didn’t work for several days that we were there. But the worst was NO HOT WATER in the showers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my anyone.

The worst experience in my life! The two main doors remained unlocked all day and night due to a break in happened previous days. We couldn't have access to the rooms because they weren't ready until 4:00 pm. Hallways, stairs etc were dirty with same trash on the floor. No hot water etc. We feel frustrated, scared , we did not have the access code for the second room it was given by the cleaning lady, l called an texted many times, no answers while sitting on the floor waiting for our rooms to be cleaned, other guest were waiting for the same thing with us. The smell in the room was terrible the cleaning offered me a spray for my room even when l didn't ask for one. I truly believe l should have my money refund no from you Expidia but for the Oyo Oban Victoria Hotel, something needs to be done. I fell abused.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay. This place is a SCAM. I requested a late check out at 12pm which was approved by the manager. When we returned to our room at 11:50am, our door was wide open and there were construction workers working in our room with a sheet covering our belongings. The construction workers were told that they were authorized to come in, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. Our room was on the first floor and anybody off the street could’ve gone in and stole all of her stuff. I called the manager and he stated that the check was at 10am and he did not authorize that. Previously, in the beginning of the conversation, I had him verify that he very well did give me a late check out and he agreed that he did and then took back what he said. I explained that I wanted a refund and he hung up the phone and refused to answer any of my follow up phone calls. I tried to call customer service and I cannot get through. On a side note, the hot water was broken and apparently the construction works stated it has been broken for a while.
