The hotel building has potential, but unfortunately, the service falls short. Cleanliness was acceptable (4/5), although some of the pool sunbeds were dirty and had not been cleaned during our 4-day stay. The staff is friendly and tries to help, but only a few speak English, which makes communication challenging.
We stayed in one of the largest suites (Duplex with Terrace), but were disappointed to find a cigarette burn on the sofa, a torn and dirty curtain, a damaged bedsheet, stains on the carpet, and bird poo and feathers on the terrace. This is not what you expect when booking one of the top rooms in a 5-star hotel. The overall atmosphere felt odd. The management approach appears to be more focused on cost-saving than on delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Food quality varied – breakfasts were noticeably better than dinners. During dinner, no drinks were provided, except for plain mineral water, which was poured from plastic bottles by the waiters (if they noticed you). Drink prices were overpriced, with no quality to justify the cost.
Overall, if you expect a true 5-star experience, this hotel will disappoint. But if you lower your expectations to a 3-star level, you might still enjoy your stay.
