I booked Sawasdee Village for a unique experience our last few days in Phuket. It felt like an oasis, with beautiful grounds and pools, comfortable room and friendly staff. The room was nicely decorated and appointed with plenty of counter and storage space, with separate closet/dressing room, sectioned off toilette and shower that walked out to the pool, patio with loungers. The bed was larger than most king sized mattresses and was very comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The TV was also large and you can sign into most Apps to access shows and movies. There was a separate router for each room so that internet connection was never an issue. The mini fridge was large with a freezer section and they provided plenty of water (in recyclable glass) that was replenished daily. They provided 2 Starbucks coffee pods for coffee each day. The only downside was that the AC didn't get lower than a certain temperature, but was comfortable for most of the stay.
There were plenty of amenities, including 2 large pools with bars providing drinks. We didn't use the gym, but it looked nice with a good amount of machines and weights. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was ample; eggs to order (including scrambled with multiple ingredients), dim sum, congee, thai dish, fried rice, yogurt, cereal, baked goods, fruit, salad and the coffee machine that made lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, etc.
