I booked 2 premium rooms for 2 nights. When checking in, I asked not to be given a room on the first floor, but the staff member didn’t care and just said everything was fully booked.
After inspecting the assigned rooms (balcony flooded, windows leaking, noisy, and the rooms smaller than advertised or booked, etc.), I requested a different room, otherwise I would cancel my reservation. Suddenly, rooms on the upper floors matching what I had booked became available.
It’s very disappointing that there was no honesty and that guests are being misled like this!
