Bad point first, to the management and whoever decided that announcing at checkout that a 5% "service charge" will be taken from the Security Deposit: Well done for making me end my stay on a sour note. I find it utterly unacceptable that service charge starts creeping on hotel bills on top of room charges. Of course I declined to pay it.
Shame for that ending because otherwise a really original hotel, offering a gothic vibe that was very amusing. It's full of quirks, from the hard to find reception to having your "room" in its own building, to no lift up to your floor (the floors are not too high) and no door between the bathroom and the bedroom (yes, the toilet is not isolated by any door). So be ready for what it is: an adult pad. The details are cleverly thought of, the bed is very comfortable, the in-room bar looks spectacular (didn't use it- also it charges by the bottle not the drink), the sound system that you very easily connect to on your phone via bluetooth, I could go on. If you want to escape with a partner or have a hedonic solo evening, definitely the place. Do not recommend to work from the room (tiny desk and generally very dark room).
