Cozy and excellent hosts
We had a wonderful time at the Lazy Lizard.
Aidan & Alex were really welcoming and they helped us a lot sharing their experience and local knowledge to choose the perfect activity for us. They patienly explained us how to get to Port Douglas, what to see and eat. As well as how to get to Port Tribulation and the tips to get most of it.
The hotel was very cozy, it did not pretend to be luxurious but to be very welcoming and adapted to the nice environment of the zone. The unit was well ventilated and had a nice veranda.
Outside there were tables inside a roofed space with a BBQ for guests near the pool.
The unit was wide and very well equiped, with a microwave, fridge, plates, glasses and cutlery.
The bed was comfortable and the room also included a sofa.
The bathroom was complete, it actually had shower and bathtub.
Parking was easy and very close to the room.
The hotel was not close to the city center, so it was very quiet. The withdraw is that you had to take the car to go downtown or walk for about 25 minutes. However parking in Port Douglas was easy.
