Filthy musty room with bugs everywhere. Couldn’t stay there had to find another motel it was so bad. Manager said I could get a refund and I would get the money back in a few days. When I did not get my money back, I contacted Expedia about it and the owner lied to Expedia and told them he never told me I could get a refund and I left and refused to look at another room he offered me. (I looked at 2. they were both nasty) They both told me no refund.

In the shower was used packets of products. They used the bath mat to hide the floor in front of the shower, which was torn up.

Nice motel

This was a nice motel. Sheets were clean, there was a microwave and a fridge, bathrooms were clean. Flat screen and cable. I stayed by myself and felt fairly safe. The parking lot was well lit.

Clean and well maintained retro property

This was a well-kept older property that still had some of its retro characteristics. My room was super clean. The associate on duty was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The bed was comfortable as well. The bathroom was clean and functional, and my only minor complaint was that the towels were somewhat old and threadbare. Despite that, my visit was great overall. I would look forward to returning.

This motel has potential to be really nice but unfortunately our room was not very clean upon our arrival. The bathroom was not clean at all, and the room was dusty like it hadn't been used. There was no coffee in the room and very few food options in town. On the upside, it was inexpensive and it suited our basic needs. It felt safe.

This motel is dated but that is the charm. Room was clean, bed/linens very comfortable. They did not enter your room unless you needed fresh linens and towels. Stayed here for almost two weeks and had no problems. Enjoyed the "watch" cat!

Duffer is my go-to choice when in the Mangum area. At $47 it's great. It's dated but that's part of the charm. Beds are newer and comfortable. A/C is as cold as you like. Staff is fantastic!! Duffer's for life!!

This property was absolutely gross. Cigarette burns in sheets (non smoking room) Filth everywhere, I have pictures if needed. The smoke alarm was missing, racks on walls falling apart, the bathroom mirror & soap holder was horrid. We actually considered sleeping in our vehicles. We were charged $74, I wouldn’t had paid $25 if I knew the conditions prior to arrival- this is the only motel in Mangum.

Typical Motel, warm bed, ZERO BUGS!

Ok, have you ever seen the movie Identity?? I swear this is THAT motel!! We pulled up, 1am in the rain and I thought, I know this place... suddenly it hit me. Identity. Seriously! First, the person who owns the motel is super nice, extremely helpful and just a lovely individual all around. 2, this is I believe one of if not the only place to stay for miles and it is a typical "motel" situation. Good price, warm bed (ZERO BUGS OF ANY KIND) and of course the obligatory vending machine breakfast unless you want a thai/donut affair (same restaurant, didnt get to try it but was very curious!).

Good value for the money, but smoky

Excellent value for the money. We were running quite a bit later than expected so we called to let them know. Ari called back to say that would be no problem at all. It was nearly midnight by the time we checked in but Barbara was courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, fairly spacious, and included a mini-fridge and small microwave. It's an older motel--reasonably well taken care of for its age--it's sort of a blast from the past. However its many years as a smoking-allowed-anywhere motel is obvious as soon as you open the room door, even in a non-smoking room. The smoky smell was almost too much for us. However, the bedding and towels smelled nice and clean, and with the A/C unit pulling in outside air, it was tolerable.

Look, it’s old... but that’s what was so quaint about it. Room had three beds and plenty of pillows and new comforters!! Front desk lady was nice and quirky! If you like vintage, out of the norm places to stay, then this is your place!!
