Breakfast buffet was not a free serve yourself but a menu option in the restaurant, and then you got up and served yourself. Was expensive for what you got.
Didn't notice on arrival there was a smudge of something (dirt? body fluid? other??) on the duvet. In morning when leaving for the day, stopped at front desk asked if housekeeping service was daily or every other, was told every 3rd day, which I've never heard of, especially at Marriott. Asked in meantime for fresh bathmat, since ours was pretty wet, also asked that they replace duvet. On return to room that night, found wet bathmat still on floor and no duvet replacement. Called front desk, they sent housekeeper with just the light coverlet. Showed housekeeper the mess on the duvet, she was surprised and rushed out to get a new one, replaced it. Asked if we wanted the sheets changed, and we declined, was not necessary. Then reminded her of the bathmat, she had forgotten; again, she left and came back with one.
On day3 return to room that night, it was clean. Towels replaced, bed remade, garbage emptied but pillows were piled onto the chair and the cases were not clean. Called front desk,housekeeper came, she was confused about why she left the pillows. Changed them out. When we went to get into the bed, noticed the sheets themselves had not been changed, just bed remade. Next a.m. on way out told front desk, asked they be changed; that night on returning, they had been. Very disappointed in the housekeeping.
