I booked a room at this hotel for my wife, two daughters, and myself to attend the seafood festival in Pensacola, Florida. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations based on my online booking.
The main lobby doors are locked at 11 p.m., which made check-in quite challenging, especially since we arrived around 1:00 a.m. When we checked in, we found several people congregating on the curb in front of our room, making it awkward and uncomfortable to unload our belongings. An hour later, when I left to grab a quick bite to eat, those same individuals were still there, now smoking weed and behaving even more suspiciously.
While I anticipated some foot traffic due to the hotel's proximity to downtown, much of it consisted of homeless individuals, similar to those lingering outside our room throughout the weekend.
The breakfast options were disappointing, offering only a limited selection. Although the overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, the rust in the toilet and shower detracted from its appearance.
On a positive note, the pool was the highlight of the hotel, and the TV in the room was one of the largest I've encountered in a hotel. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location for a future stay.
